The Church of the Apostles would like to thank those who come from Flower Mound, TX, to worship with us.

Flower Mound is a suburb of Fort Worth and Dallas. Its population was 64,669 in the 2010 Census. The town derives its name from the prominent 12.5-acre mound located in the southern portion of the town. The most widely accepted explanation for the ‘Flower Mound’ name stems from the Wichita Indians sacred ceremonial ground. Although surrounded by commercial and residential development,  Flower Mound possesses a strong governing body to protect it from unnecessary development.

Flower Mound is a Dallas TX Suburb with easy access to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.. It refuses the designation of a “city” despite its recent growth; it bills itself as the “Town of Flower Mound” with a “Town Hall” and a “Town Council.”

Flower Mound has a first-rate school system, a wide variety of quality housing options, and a safe family environment that continues to attract hundreds of new families each year. Recreational options are plentiful in this town and include award-winning bike and nature trails, beautiful Lake Grapevine, and two world-class golf courses that attract visitors from across the country.

Within minutes of the center of the city, residents have access to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.  In addition,  Alliance Airport, Texas Motor Speedway, dining, shopping, recreation, and cultural activities are all just a short drive away.

This city’s Chamber stands ready to serve this vibrant community and icommits to working with the community and business leaders ito promote positive economic growth and responding to the issues surrounding that growth.
